Conversational Hypnosis
Posted by admin | Filed under hypnosis, hypnosis therapy, mindset, Noah St. John, psychology
Throughout the years of practicing hypnosis I have gotten one question often. My clients have asked me how to use hypnosis in everyday life.
Some people have the knack for speaking, writing, etc. hypnotically. There are many books on the subject, however the reality is that using hypnosis in everyday life is automatic once you master it. Using hypnosis techniques in your daily life can become part of your personality if you so desire.
Before I go any further, I want to clarify that using hypnotic techniques are not evil or manipulating. They are a way to establish great rapport with and individual based on how they think.
Since I do not have a page dedicated to him, I would like to introduce Steve G. Jones he’s a world renowned, super-educated hypnotherapist. Steve is an expert on how to use hypnosis in both everyday life and therapeutically. After all, that’s just about the only thing Steve has done with his life, professionally speaking, for the last 24 years.
Steve has created an 18 module system to give you almost-absolute control in everyday situations. You can find out more about his program by going to http://www.hypnosistocontrol.com.
There are two limiting factors when it comes to conversational hypnosis with Steve’s program:
The individual must have an IQ of 90 (which goes for hypnosis, not just conversationally) and the use of conversational hypnosis can be used on one individual at time.
If you want to get an edge in everyday communication, lead other people towards your goals and you promise to do it ethically… I urge you to find out more about Steve’s program.
There are others out there if you want to do the search but from this hypnotist’s standpoint, Steve really provides some great information.

Depression, Fatigue, and Positive Thoughts
Posted by admin | Filed under depression, law of attraction, laws of attraction, mindset, Noah St. John, positive thoughts
Many times you may find it difficult at times to access the positive feeling thoughts that are needed to attract the things that you want in your life. Your thoughts have a very powerful attachment to the way your body feels as well as what occurs in your life.
There is a correlation between depression and fatigue and it seems that one fuels the other. When you are depressed you feel more drained and tired. When you are fatigued your mind is drained as well. With a tired mind and body it makes it even more difficult to generate positive thoughts. You do not believe that you are not depressed nor do you believe that you are not tired.
How do you reach for those better feeling thoughts of energy and happiness when you are stuck in that rut?
You must accept that in some way you did get yourself in that rut by your thoughts, accept, but not dwell. It is not necessary to go back and see which thought went wrong and when. If you do that, I can almost guarantee you will become more fatigued and more depressed.
While one way of feeling better is to reach for less restricting thoughts, such as “happiness is on its way” or “I will have energy soon.” A better way may to be directing those less restricting thoughts to both at the same time. “Happiness is on its way and I will have energy soon.”
A great correlation between depression and fatigue is lack of activity. In order to lessen resistance and find more positive thoughts, try directing your thoughts towards activity and exercise. By doing this, you dwell neither on the fact that you are unhappy nor on the fact that you are tired. You are directing your thoughts to something that will bring you more energy which in turn can bring you out of depression.

The Law Of Attraction Doesn’t Work…
Posted by admin | Filed under law of attraction, laws of attraction, the law of attraction, the laws of attraction
The Secret is becoming one of the most talked about topics in the world. With the wide spread publicity it’s been getting, people who ordinarily wouldn’t consider a conversation about ‘metaphysics’ are talking about using the Law of Attraction to create their own destinies. They’re sitting back wishing for cars, money, romance and a whole laundry list of other things they’re expecting to magically appear. The real “secret” is: the Law of Attraction doesn’t work…like that.
How The Law Of Attraction REALLY Works
The Law of Attraction is based on the principle of “like attracts like” – or better said, like energy attracts like energy. A good illustration would be a radio station tower. It emits energy in the form of radio waves vibrating on a certain frequency. In order for you to hear what’s on that radio station, your receiver has to be on the same frequency.
It’s the same with all other forms of energy; they transmit and receive on a certain frequency. You have a frequency, your car has a frequency, money has a frequency, and so does everything else in the physical universe. According to the scientific principle of attraction, this ‘frequency’ is what draws these energies towards each other. (i.e. the Law of Attraction).
How Thought Become Things
Thought, being a form of energy, is subject to this same principle. In other words, thinking about something emits a frequency that draws that thing toward you – whether good or bad. Thinking about ‘positive’ things (having a positive mental attitude) tends to draw positive experiences to you like a pay raise, attracting a mate, more business, etc.
Thinking about negative things tends to draw negative experiences like flat tires, getting fired, getting dumped, etc. So, on the surface level it would appear that your thoughts actually created your experience. However, this is where the science gets a little murky and people get confused.
TB (w + A) = t
Every physical manifestation we encounter begins with thought. In other words, thoughts become things. In science, the equation of thought becoming things could be represented by T = t (“T” being thought, and “t” representing the physical manifestation of the thought) However, that’s not the whole equation. The initial thought (along with belief) leads to the words we say, which leads to the ACTIONS we take, which leads to the manifestation of the things we see in our physical reality. The better equation would be: T(to the power of B) (w + A) = t. Thought (T) to the power of belief (B) times words (w) plus Action (A) = things (t).
Here’s an example of how thought becomes a physical thing: There once was an idea that sound could be recorded and then listened to at a later time; just as text could be written and read at a later time. That concept sparked Thomas Edison to think about how the human voice could be recorded and played back. The belief that it could be done led to the words and actions required to create such a device. Voila…the advent of the phonograph. Though there were many experiments and activity that went on throughout the duration of this invention, it began with thought.
Taking Action
When you have a desire for something, you shift your vibrational resonance (frequency) to the same as what you desire. Immediately, universal forces begin to cause that desire to come towards you through seemingly strange synchronicities (more commonly referred to as coincidences). People will show up; things will start to occur; and the exact opportunities to manifest that desire will come to you. However the next step is the most critical in this equation – Action!
The Law of Attraction states that once you put out a certain kind of vibrational energy you will receive the same in return. This is referred to as “like attracting like”. However, you must put yourself into position (taking action) to receive these things; just as you would have to physically tune your radio to receive a certain radio station’s signal.
Herbert Hoover once said, “Words without actions are the assassins of idealism.” Better stated, “Words without action are simply wishes.”
The Real Secret Revealed
Many people misinterpret the Law of Attraction as a wishing well or ‘magic’ genie. They think by wishing for things hard enough, they will get them. This is simply not true. It takes more than that to make your dreams come true. The Law of Attraction is about acting, not just thinking. Just look at the word: AttrACTION.
The real secret to using the Law of Attraction is taking action. Once you put forth the intention for what you want in life, you must recognize the ‘coincidences’ and opportunities that appear in your life – and take ACTION on them.

Stress Reduction Techniques

Stress Reduction and Acceptance
There many things in life that you may find cause you stress, however this does not have to be the case. The only reason they are causing you stress is because you are allowing them too.
This is sometimes hard to accept for many as it is so much easier to blame someone else for the stresses in your life. If you choose to take accountability for your stress then you may become negative about yourself. Doing either of these things may make your life even more stressful, and the next thing you know you are in a spiral of stress, fatigue, and self-doubt.
Accepting things that come your way will reduce resistance to positive thoughts. It is easy to read but how easy is it to do? Below are some tips to help you on the road to acceptance and to a life of blissful fulfillment.
1. Realize that in some way whatever you have to accept was attracted into your world so that you could learn from it
2. Appreciate the stress, for the stress is telling you that you are out of alignment of where you want to be.
3. Stop and write. Write down everything that is good about the stress, the areas that are good in your life, and the things you appreciate.
4. Remember that the stress you are experiencing now will more then likely not matter in a week, let alone a day.
5. Listen to a motivation CD or read an motivation book
6. Watch a funny movie or show. Laughter to this day is still the best relief.
7. Exercise, I know many will skip this, but I don’t mean jog a marathon. Do anything, a walk, 20 sit-ups, anything to boost the endorphins
8. Try aromatherapy, there are many scents that calm the mind and body
9. Learn self-hypnosis or meditation, both of these will help center and bring you back into balance
10. When all else fails, refocus your thoughts on anything else that brings you joy or take a power nap. Many times frustration and stress occur when one is tired and needs rest.
There are, of course, other ways to reduce stress and bring you back into alignment and you need to do what works for you. However, by not accepting the stress as self-induced and recognizing that your thoughts are causing it may prove to be quite detrimental to your life experience.

Age Specific Thinking – Psychology Thinking
Posted by admin | Filed under mindset, psychology
When there is tension, frustration, or hate for another in your life, it can wear on you more then it will every effect the other person. The negative feeling build-up can lead to perpetual negative thoughts, mood problems, and even physical illness.
When someone has done you wrong or is not seeing your point of view, it can be a difficult task for you to change your mindset.
One helpful trick that has been helping me is using some age based thinking. Not just realizing your age but utilizing age specific thinking.
What I mean by age specific thinking only takes a second and can greatly change your point of view in moments. Using age specific thinking is not to dwell upon your current age and the negativities you may have associated with it. Age specific thinking is to bring your awareness back to NOW not the insecure age or time where you feel you need to defend or justify to others.
Practicing age specific thinking is quite simple but needs to be practiced away from as well as during negative situations. By practicing away from negative situations enough, the process should become natural to you so you can handle them when they arise. By practicing during situations you can put the process in motion and see how it is working for you. From there make adjustments to areas that are not working well.
To practice away from negativity you need about 5 minutes and a reasonably quiet place. Unlike other self-improvement techniques there can be distractions as long as they are minimal.
To begin the process sit or stand alone in front of a mirror and look at your face. Notice your facial expressions, eyes, and any other features you find pleasing. Begin thinking of phrases to say to yourself, both in your mind and aloud. Some very effective phrases are “ I am 32 now” or I am “ I am 32 years of age.” While speaking and hearing in your mind these phrases keep the focus on your face. You will soon come to realize the real you. Don’t expect to understand that phrase now it will come to you.
Before or in a negative situation you should also practice the age based thinking. By doing this it will give you a better idea of what phrases are working for you as well as how well the process is working for you. Some key phrases while in a negative situation may be “I am 32 years old and can handle this the best way possible” or I am a 32 year old now and I can manage to handle this calmly and effectively.”
Many people make the mistake of using negative phrases while using the process in an uncomfortable situation. For example, people use phrases such as “They are 32 years of age and should act like it” or “I am 32 years of age and I act like it why can’t they.” By using these phrases you are making the process about the other person or persons. It is not your business about how they handle themselves, and the goal of age based thinking is to help you. The main person who will ever take care of you is you therefore making it about another will just increase your frustration
If you find that the process is not working for you as well as you would like a simple way to speed up results is to create your own phrases that are personal and positive to you. You may also increase you alone practice to as many minutes as you see fit. Make it a personal process for you.

The Laws Of Attraction and Prayer
Posted by admin | Filed under Prayer, the law of attraction, the laws of attraction
3 Prayers Using the Law of Attraction
1. The Prayer of Surrender
This is the prayer prayed in times of anguish, of sorrow and of pain. During such times, it would be near impossible to render a true prayer of hope or of gratitude, for the heart is aggrieved and the soul is sick and needs healing.
It is hypocrisy for a man to say that he is thankful for such sufferings. No man is thankful for suffering except for masochists, and even masochists are not primarily thankful for the pain, but for the pleasure derived from such pain.
These are times of darkness, of raging storms when we hold on to faith by a very thin thread, yet handle we must until we can truly utter a prayer of surrender.
A prayer of surrender acknowledges our grief and admits our weakness. It admits our hurt, our anger, our fears. Yet this prayer also admits one very essential thing, that we surrender to Someone Higher than ourselves, to a God who will take care of us even if we cannot yet grasp how.
A prayer of surrender is a prayer of letting go and is in a way, a prayer of freedom, freedom from whatever it is that afflicts us at the moment and keeps us from praying a prayer of hope or of gratitude.
The result of this prayer therefore is comfort and peace, and a great pause that allows us to rest and regain strength and perspective.
2. The Prayer of Hope
After letting go and receiving healing, the heart finds wholeness, the soul gains perspective to dream again and discover what it is it truly desires.
From pain it learned what it does not truly want and it is now ready to receive visions of its true destiny.
Were you broken hearted? Have you been released from a person who does not deserve your loyalty and love? After healing, you are now given the chance to feel what kind of person would really make you happy.
This prayer of hope is the prayer of attraction, whose power manifests the best vision we can make. It is a good feeling, almost of certainty, that things wonderful are about to happen and its only a matter of time.
3. The Prayer of Gratitude
After attracting the true desires of our heart, we receive what we have hoped for in full, not lacking in any way. This is the prayer of gratitude, when the heart is filled with gladness and asks for nothing more than to be a channel of blessing for other people.
With gratitude, one is resonating with the highest vibrations of joy and love. Everything is perfect, a heaven, something you’d wish to keep forever.
What prayer are you praying at the moment? Know that whatever situation you are in, there is a kind of prayer that can tap to the Law of Attraction. There is a powerful prayer within the reach of your heart.

The Laws Of Attraction and Depression
Posted by admin | Filed under law of attraction, laws of attraction
Throughout many Law of Attraction reads it is said that you get whatever comes into your life through your thoughts. The question I have had and that others have asked me is about depression.
I have seen websites and blogs condemning those who suffer from depression saying it is the fault of your thoughts. While that may be true, there are some factors I believe should be taken into consideration.
I do believe accountability of thoughts needs to be accepted. You must be aware of your thoughts always and when they feel bad look for the better feeling ones. With that being said, those who suffer from depression may have a more difficult time. Sometimes people with depression feel bad without even knowing why.
According to the Laws of Attraction you are taught things throughout life and then they become your beliefs. Perhaps then the depressed are those that have been told they were depressed, because they were having a hard time in their life, and then established that belief.
That belief could have been established decades ago, so undoing that would take some powerful thoughts. When the mind is conditioned to feeling bad it is more difficult to reach for those better feeling thoughts.
This leaves the depressed with a frustration with the Law Of Attraction. Believing it either doesn’t work or they are just cursed with depression.
There are some simple tips that I have used and that others have used successfully for people trying to achieve better well being with the Law Of Attraction who suffer from depression.
First, is to accept the negative thought or feeling, not automatically criticizing yourself because you have a bad thought. By accepting the thought you release the resistance to fight. Accept the thought, love it for what it is, a piece of you that was there at one time, and then thankfully tell it, I no longer need or want you.
Second, after you have embraced the thought and let go of the fight, smile, just smile I have read many times that if you smile for so long you can change your entire mood. Close your eyes and see yourself smiling, see yourself the way you want to be.
Third, redirect your attention from what you were doing to something more pleasant or at least different then what you were involved in. If you are experiencing depression around the computer go do a load of laundry and be grateful you have somewhere to do laundry. By doing this you have gotten rid of the area your depression started at and now your smiling self can also have a new task.
Redirecting your thoughts and focus are key. If you are depressed, sad, angry, go do, watch, or refocus on something else.
