10 Inspirational Quotes That Can Improve Yourself

“Life With Woody” 10 inspirational quotes than can improve yourself
What’s really interesting is that how do people go through the usual part of life when faced with vein-popping stress? I mean, the new age thing like Zen or yoga is one of the good things and it actually works. Is there room for the intellectual side of people who can actually smell the roses-in-a-can while on the move? It kind of had me thinking that there really must be something in this ‘mind-over-matter’ thing.
Humor is indeed the best medicine there is whenever you are. I mean anyone can pay good money to listen to a comedian just to make you wet your pants after laughing so hard. Despite of what’s been happening, and to those who has gone though the ordeal, it’s better to just laugh while facing the troubles with a clear mind than anger with a clouded vision. One of my favorite celebrities of all time may have to be Woody Allen. Now this is one guy who gives you the in-your-face bluntness that he pulls out with gusto, even without even trying. You can talk just about anything with a man, and he’s bound to mock the subject and you’ll end up laughing rather than being upset about it.
Woody Allen has this to say:
1. “Money is better than poverty, if only for financial reasons.” It sounds good to me, I mean the practicality of all things does involve money but it doesn’t have to take an arm and a leg to get it.
2. “I believe there is something out there watching us. Unfortunately, it’s the government.” ‘Nuff said.
3. “There are worse things in life than death. Have you ever spent an evening with an insurance salesman?” This happens to be one of the classic ones. I mean the issue about life’s little problems isn’t all that bad, until ‘he’ shows up.
Sure, relationships can get complicated, or does have its complications that probably any author about relationships is bound to discover it soon. We follow what our heart desires, unless you’re talking about the heart as in the heart that pump blood throughout your body.
4. “Love is the answer, but while you’re waiting for the answer, sex raises some pretty interesting questions.” And if you want more, just keep on asking!
5. “A fast word about oral contraception. I asked a girl to go to bed with me, she said ‘no’.” It sounds, ‘practical’, I think.
And when it comes to everyday life, he really knows how to make the best out of every possible scenario, and it doesn’t involve a lawsuit if he strikes a nerve.
6. “Basically my wife was immature. I’d be at home in the bath and she’d come in and sink my boats.” I never had a boat in my bathtub before. Just staring at it while soaking in hot water makes me seasick already.
7. “I am not afraid of death, I just don’t want to be there when it happens.” If it rains, it pours.
8. “I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose.” It could get worse when you’re guzzling on beer… or mouthwash, and it happened to me once!
9. “If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans.” At least he doesn’t smite us with lightning, and I’m thankful for that.
And despite of what may happen to all of us in the next ten, twenty, or even thirty years, I guess we all have to see things in a different kind of light and not just perspective. I can’t seem to imagine life without any piece of wisdom that could guide us. Whether we’re religious or not, it takes more courage to accept your fears and learn how to deal with them is all that matters when it comes to even just getting along.
And to sum things up, here is the last nugget of wisdom to go by… however, whenever, and wherever we may be.
10. “The talent for being happy is appreciating and liking what you have, instead of what you don’t have.”
Laugh just laugh………….

The Law of Attraction and The Law of Receiving
Posted by admin | Filed under Personal Development
The Law of Receiving is one of Bob Proctor and Mary Morrissey’s 11 Forgotten Laws. The 11 Forgotten Laws is a program and study course based upon Raymond Holliwell’s book Working With The Law.
Some what of a surprising message is this Law of Receiving. (That’s Yoda-speak for, The Law of receiving has a surprising message.) In order to receive you must first give. Most people, myself included, have always been of the mind that you must get before you can give. In my mind I have always figured when I hit the big time I will then be able to give more in charitable contributions. Habitat for Humanity is my personal favorite. I donate sporadically. But according to this Law of Receiving the giving must come first. As Raymond Holliwell states giving, “is the first law of all creation.” I believe it was the creators of the Chicken Soup For The Soul series whom I have seen giving a seminar on the benefits of giving. Considering the astounding success of their books, I am thinking they must know of what they speak. But I must say, I didn’t really get it then. I did not really get it in the Law of Attraction sort of way. Giving opens up an avenue for receiving.
When I look back on my life I can see places where I was using this law and it was working very well for me but I wasn’t even aware. There have been many times where I gave selflessly and gained much in return. Sometimes the rewards were monetary, sometimes spiritual, often times both. In my current financial situation, I can see where my money making strategy has been a bit weak. Certainly the financial benefits have had that same weakness. Bob Proctor says, “Giving always precedes and predetermines the reception, whether you’re giving your thought, your work, your service, or your deed.”
In my mind and most certainly in my heart, the idea that I am giving something that will benefit others makes the work so much more satisfying. It also gives the work a much higher value which can most certainly be financially beneficial. However, we must be aware that there is a right and also a wrong way to give. Careless and impulsive giving will get careless results. But there can also be as Proctor puts it, “careful, scientific giving.” If our giving retards progress then there can be no benefit. Such as giving a person food instead of teaching him to feed himself would be detrimental. However giving the help a person needs to stand on their own can be powerful.
Proctor suggests we tithe 10% of our income before anything else. He says tithing ,”is an orderly, methodical plan of giving, which creates a steady flow of reciprocal good to be received.” Not bad. He goes on to say, “tithing gives a person self-reliance, a confidence which enables him to build up a positive mental attitude which attracts success.” That’s what I’m all about, “attracting success.”
Now after we give, there is more to do. Next we must prepare to receive. As Raymond Holliwell states, “This is the most interesting part, because our preparation shows our active faith.” This ties in with what we know of the Law of Attraction. Our desire, and our attention to that desire, sets us up to receive what we desire. We may get what we expect to receive. Holliwell goes on to say, “The key to the law then is: We are continually drawing into life what we give and expect.” so if we give in a lazy manner we can expect to receive lazy results. However in giving it our all we can expect results that may just exceed our expectations.
Imagine the results you will get when you give all you can give in a thoughtful manner. You may just surprise yourself.
About the Author: Anita is a great believer in the Law of Attraction. The proof is laid out in the pages of her life. The more thoughtful her use of the law the better her results. To gain better results in your own life, take a look at Bob Proctor and Mary Morrissey’s 11 Forgotten Laws.

These Forgotten Secrets of The Law of Attraction will Blow You Away
Posted by admin | Filed under Bob Proctor, law of attraction, Personal Development
The Law of Obedience is one of the 11 Forgotten Laws. The 11 Forgotten Laws is a home study course on the Law of Attraction put together by Bob Proctor and Mary Morrissey. It is based upon the book by Raymond Holliwell, Working With the Law.
On first look, The Law of Obedience made me want to run in the other direction. The word obey makes me think of a list of rules and regulations that a body must follow whether he likes it or not. Someone else makes the rules, I have to follow them. This is a bunch of crap, right? I guess I’m a bit of a rebel.
Well, once again, in the learning of all these 11 Forgotten Laws, I see how a small change in perspective can change your whole point of view. Seeing things in a different way can open up whole new worlds. The Law of Attraction is all about perspective. When you really know these laws and begin to apply them to your daily routine, your results may just blow your mind.
What if, instead of using the word obey, we use the word harmony? This is the way Bob Proctor explains. Instead of obeying the law, live in harmony with the law. Go with the flow, don’t fight it. Understanding the rules and playing the game of life within these guidelines can make your life evolve into a true work of art.
There are certain rules in gardening. You must plant at the right time of year, plant in good soil, water and fertilize. If you break these rules, will you get a good crop? Not likely. In order for your garden to be successful, you must obey the laws of nature. You must plant in harmony with nature’s laws to receive nature’s abundance.
We can all agree that we need laws in our cities so that we can maintain an orderly, structured society. Without our laws society would be in chaos. Without traffic laws our streets would be a mess. There needs to be some set of laws to govern our cities and our streets to maintain order.
It is the same in life. Obey, or live in harmony, with these laws of life and you can expect an abundant outcome. Use the knowledge provided by these 11 Forgotten Laws to live your life the way it was meant to be lived. Success, joy, peace and happiness can be part of your daily life. Working in harmony with the Law of Attraction can improve our lives in ways we never before imagined.
Working within these laws can help us to achieve more than we have ever thought possible.
After 20 years of metaphysical study Anita Hamasaki has learned that the Law of the Attraction is no joke. It’s out there whether we like it or not. It effects everything. What happens in your life happens in direct response to what you do. No one has any control over what happens but you. Bob Proctor can teach you how to use this information to transform your life.

What Are The Secrets Of Meditation?
Posted by Trevor Johnson | Filed under Personal Development
Do you know the meditation secrets only masters should know? Meditation helps you become aware of every thought and feeling. Never to judge but to watch is a quality that can be developed only with meditation. It is in the watching you begin to understand the whole movement of thought and feeling. Meditation unlocks the power of awareness that leads you to power, patience and success. It shows you the reality of life and what your role is in it.
There are many forms of meditation which all basically focus upon opening the spiritual heart which is the center of love. The heart is also the seat of all spiritual qualities. One secret of meditation is unlocking this center for self-discovery, freedom and ecstasy that cannot be defined in words.
Meditation also works like an iron shield. It makes you immune to noise outside in the world. Nothing is able to touch you. Pain and pleasure cannot stir you. Material possessions cannot give you everlasting happiness but meditation leads you through higher aspirations to a unique self-sufficiency and purity. It sets you above physical desires and the tribulations of life appear to be no more than pin-pricks barely felt.
Grace, the fourth of meditation secrets, are regarded as the devine love and kindness of God. It increases our spiritual hunger and clears obstacles in our way. It is the way to the great alchemy that changes ignorance to knowledge, disbelief into believe. Grace is one of the main dynamic forces of meditation and one of the greatest secrets of a spiritual life.
Happiness and pleasure can be ‘bought’ for the short-term but not bliss. Means of entertainment, people, careers, property and all other material things provide us with a very surface level of contentment. Deep within we still continue to feel discontent despite everything. Bliss is a strange everlasting sense of joy and has no motive. Once it is there, depending on the quality of your mind, it remains timeless and causeless. This is the fifth secret of meditation and not easily achieved.

Homeopathy for Depression
Posted by admin | Filed under Personal Development
Depression can range from mild to severe based on the person, the events in their lives, and at times many say a chemical imbalance. There are many medications, therapies, and treatments for depression. However, if you are looking for a more natural approach some homeopathy can help soothe depression.
One of the leading homeopathic remedies for depression caused by grief is Ignatia. Ignatia also know as St. Ignatias bean can help with grief caused by numerous things such as a breakup, job loss, and even experiences with abuse.
Individuals who cry suddenly or easily or are clingy or dependant could benefit from Pulsatilla. Pulsatilla is also known as windflower. This type of remedy soothes the sobbing to a minor cry, reduces clinginess, and can also be a benefit by promoting independency.
Those people with low-self-esteem, don’t cry often, and do not like consolation could benefit from Natrum murlatlcum. Natrum murlatlcum is also known as salt. This homeopathic remedy can help these individual by controlling there sobbing they do exhibit in private, and help release grudges.
Depressed individuals regardless of the cause may take more time to notice a benefit based on the severity of depression. However, one of the great benefits of using homeopathy is often the dramatic results they do receive by using different methods and homeopathic medicine.
Although I have seen and experienced homeopathic remedies to be greatly beneficial, if you are experiencing depression it is always beneficial to check with a physician before trying any remedies. To find out more about homeopathy remedies simply go to Homeopathic World or Thymely Solutions.

Brain Power Control By Steve G. Jones, M.Ed.
Posted by admin | Filed under Personal Development
What is self improvement? Well, the dictionary defines self
improvement as “improvement of one’s mind, character, etc. through
one’s own efforts. Seems pretty simple and straight forward.
So logically, the next question one would ask themselves is what
should the efforts consist of? In other words, what techniques,
principles & resources work most effectively?
Well, that is a question that Clinical Hypnotherapist, Steve G.
Jones has been asking himself for many years.
Since the 1980′s, Steve has been changing the lives of people all
over the world for the better using the power of hypnosis.
One thing that he has always kept in mind in his search is that
there is no “one magical formula” that can completely improve every
single aspect of your life. Enhancing your level of self
improvement is a process that consists of many different techniques
and formulas. After all, one’s self consists of many things and
because we are all different, some of us need more improvement in
certain places than others.
Taking the necessary steps toward enhancing your self improvement
is like exercising. Only instead of training your body, you’re
training your mind.
When you exercise or train your body, there is no one universal
program known to man that works for everyone. Rather, effective
programs consist of a combination of many different techniques and
exercises that come together at different points that create the
desired result.
For example, let’s say your goal is to build muscle. Because your
entire body consists of different muscles that do different things,
different exercises are required for each one. And for each muscle,
there’s probably 5-7 different exercises that you can perform to
achieve your overall fitness goal.
Training your mind is no different. The techniques that you apply
should always vary. The important thing is that they actually work.
Many people however, don’t take the process of training their brain
as seriously as they should.
They spend all of their time, money and energy on resources that
they think will improve their lives without ever actually investing
in their mind.
Think of your mind as the root and everything else as the branches.
The roots set the stage of success for everything else.
If you invest in your mind, everything else will fall into place.
And that’s why Steve G. Jones, M.Ed. is proud to present his newest
creation. Introducing the all new Brain Power Control System…
Consisting of Four Empowering Hypnosis Modules, this program will
reveal secrets like:
Essential Brain Nutrition – While certain foods strengthen your
brain, others weaken it. Here you’ll learn which foods to avoid and
which one’s to make part of your daily regimen
The Secret Element Needed For A Healthy Brain – Without this
element, your brain is sure to burn out.
Three Simple Ways To Strengthen Your Brain Using Physical Fitness -
These 3 simple steps will ensure your brain gets healthy doing
everyday, easy exercises.
Seven Powerful Brain Techniques To Give Your Brain A Workout -
Aside from the physical exercise, you need mental exercise or your
brain will get out of shape. Here I will disclose the most
effective mental exercises known to man.
Five Simple Steps To Keep Your Brain Healthy – As all true
successes can only be measured by results that last, you will
discover the exact methods to sustain success.
And Much more…

What Is The Dewey Color System?
Posted by admin | Filed under Personal Development, psychology
Colors have long been known for their different meanings. Many believe that the colors you like express your personality. Colors are also known for the different effects they have on others. The Dewey Color system is a color-based personality test and is the world’s first and only validated system of testing personality based on color.
The Dewey color system has been accepted for publication in The North American Journal of Psychology. The Dewey Color system is said to scientifically predict personality factors such as your traits. It is based on ranking your favorite and least favorite colors into 4 categories. These include primary, secondary, achromatic, and intermediate. From there you can evaluate a person’s personality based on their choices.
The Dewey Color system is very interesting because it is based within the realm of the subconscious mind. In brief, your subconscious mind is attracted to colors that indicate your passions and not attracted to colors that indicate things you would like to avoid.
For more information you can visit Dewey Color System . At this website you can set up a free profile, visit the color store, and learn more about colors and their meaning.

The Farmer And The Piece Of Straw That Made Him Rich
Posted by admin | Filed under Personal Development
This is such a wonderful story I couldn’t help but share it!
A rich man born out of giving!
There is a Japanese folk tale about the power of giving and it exemplifies how we can get the most wonderful of gifts when we’re gifting things to others and are positive about what we have already got.
Here is the story.
Once upon a time, there was a poor young farmer. Everything he did in his life never seemed to produce any wealth for him. He was totally broke with no money, no family and no food. So one night he sneaked into a temple and sat by the altar and in desperation asked the Gods what he was supposed to do.
“I have always been sincere and industrious, but all my industriousness never became beneficial to me. Where have I gone wrong?”
He fell asleep besides the altar just after having asking his question. In the morning, as he was waking up, he saw one of the Gods in his dream surrounded by a blinding golden light. The God’s voice echoed through his mind.
“When you wake up today, treasure the very thing you have in your hand and keep giving it generously to others on your way,” the God whispered.
The farmer was brimming with questions when he woke up but he tried to shake off his sleep and clear his mind of the strange but clear dream he had. However, he saw a bit of a straw in his hand. It must have remained on his clothes while he worked in his fields.
He almost threw it away, but stopped short of doing it recollecting what God had said about it. He seated himself again and stared at the straw in his hand.
He sat for a long while wondering what that meant. He had no idea how a broken bit of a straw can be of any use to him. Suddenly he saw a wasp buzzing around. The wasp soon alighted on the tip of the straw. He caught hold of the wasp and bound it to the straw with a piece of string from his dress. Thus with a piece of straw with a wasp at one end, he proceeded.
He had only walked for a few minutes before he saw a little boy and his mother coming from the other direction. The boy was crying. As he said hello, the boy noticed the wasp moving on the straw that the farmer was holding. He stopped crying and asked for the straw. The farmer nearly declined but then he remembered about the God’s message that he needed to treasure what he had but also remembered that he was to give it away to others. So, he offered the straw to the boy. The mother was very appreciative as now the boy stopped crying and began smiling. The mother offered the farmer three tangerines.
The man continued on his way. After a while he started feeling hungry and wanted to eat one of the tangerines. But he stopped short of doing it and remembered that he had to gift things to others, not give it to himself.
He had to climb a steep hill and there he saw a trader sitting on the earth under a tree. Near the man was a wooden box. The farmer wished the trader who seemed to be very tired. The trader saw the tangerines the farmer had and asked if he could have them. The trader said he was very thirsty.
The farmer was also equally thirsty as the day was hot and he had walked pretty long, still he gave all the three tangerines to the trader. The man ate all the three tangerines and felt fully energized. He felt very thankful to the farmer who was so kind. To show his gratitude, he opened the box that he had kept near him. The box contained several bolts of hand dyed silk. The trader took out one roll, gifted it to the farmer and left.
The farmer walked again and continued on the same path. After a while he found a river from which he drank water. He felt recharged. He went forward with more energy and a feeling of ease.
The farmer walked and walked not seeing anyone for a long time. He started to think that maybe this was it – his fortune. So, he decided to go to the nearby town to sell the fabric.
But as soon as he turned the corner, he found a group of soldiers. One of them, who appeared to be the leader of the group, was standing near a horse that had fallen on the ground. The leader of the soldiers was saying something to the men of his group.
“It does not appear that this horse would live much. We will have to leave it here. Nurse it well and catch up with me.” With this the leader jumped on to another horse and rode off, moving out of people’s sight.
The remaining soldiers were left discussing what to do about it. They were reluctant to kill the animal but they did not have much of a choice. At last one of them took out a sword.
The farmer ran to them and requested them to refrain from killing it. He opted to care for the animal. In return for that he gave them the bolt of silk he had. They were happy of the offer and went away fast.
The farmer stood there with the horse that was in its death throes. He felt he might have got it all wrong and that he was not destined to be wealthy. Then he thought of the river that he had come across on the way.
He turned back and went to the river, removed his shirt and immersed it in the river to get water for the horse. He went back to the animal lying on the earth and pressed the water out of the shirt gently into its mouth. As the water went inside drop by drop, the animal slowly got recharged and finally the farmer was able to help it stand up.
Once the horse could stand, the farmer was able to take it to the river. The horse drank directly from the river and the farmer also led it to the patches of grass nearby. Very soon the animal was rejuvenated.
Now the farmer had a horse! They set off again together, this time the man had to run to keep up. The horse was actually leading the way. They ran together for miles. As the sun starting to go down, the horse finally stopped in front of a large house. As the farmer caught up, the horse pushed him with his nose to the entrance of the house.
As the farmer approached the gate, the doors swung open and to his surprise, an old man appeared. The old man was rushing outside and was looking a little pale. He noticed the farmer and the horse standing by the gate.
The man queried the farmer what he wanted. The farmer replied that he was in need of a place to retire for the night. The old man in his turn said that he had to go to the town on an important matter and requested the farmer to be in charge of the house till such time that he returned. He said that his returning might get delayed.
Since the old man appeared to be in a hurry, the farmer said that he can use the horse. The old man felt glad about the gesture and accepted the offer. He left with the horse but before he left told the farmer something strange.
“If I am not back in three years, this house becomes yours.”
As you perhaps inferred, the old man did not return.
So the farmer lived happily ever after in the old man’s big house with kind-hearted neighbours around and a land rich in good crops. He always kept in mind the rule that he should give to others what he had.
I am grateful to you for reading this story. And how did you feel about it?
There is always a pattern to things. If the venture of getting can be converted into the venture of giving, our life would pour forth with greater profusion. But it may be a bit difficult to make this ancient wisdom a part of our lives.
The following are the interesting principles we can see in the tale:
* When we are ready to give what others need, they will consider it more valuable than while we are trying to ‘trade’ it (as basically we are always hopeful of getting something out of that transaction), as then they only consider the price we ask for and tend to pay less.
* When we are not possessive of whatever we have, we will perceive that we thereby have more chances as we can release the existing possessions.
* When what life offers is not a bed of roses, instead of concentrating on the difficulty if we kept our attention on giving and sharing, life is sure to bring in good things later.
* When we try to encash what we have created, believing that “this is the maximum it will bring”, as we think we might be the loser if it is not turned into cash, our life will stagnate. Instead of that, we should continue to give liberally whatever we have got and however wealthy we are or we are not.
Giving is part of many successful people’s lives. When we give first, we have more chance of living a life of magnificence, ease and expansion.

Making Your Own Subliminal Messages Has Never Been Easier
Posted by Trevor Johnson | Filed under hypnosis, mind technology, Personal Development
Making your own subliminal messages is not a difficult task. We all hear these messages everyday but most people choose to ignore them completely.
Before you go out and buy the software to help you make your own subliminal messages, you need to understand what a subliminal message is exactly. Everyone has witnessed a commercial showing someone drinking alcohol, or lighting up a cigarette. Companies make these attributes seem cool to the consumer in a means to get them to participate in the same actions. It’s almost like brainwashing you into something that you had no idea you were being brainwashed to do. Subliminal messages are often times referred to as secret messages.
Many people are taking these messages and running with them. There are plethoras of subliminal message tapes available that claim that they can cure you of anything. People buy these tapes in hopes that it can help make them a better person. They can listen to the tapes when they are awake or asleep.
There are a plethora of people who truly do not understand subliminal messages. They will make jokes about their effectiveness, most of the time because they have never used them. These tapes can help you solve whatever ails you, be it depression, or stress.
When you are making your own subliminal message takes you need to watch the way that you word specific things. Many kits will come with a step by step process of how to record your messages and the certain things that you should say will be written on a script. If you mess anything up when you are recording, simply rewind and try again.
It has been shown, that with some people it takes hearing their own voice to actually get through to them.
