Dealing With Difficult People and The Law Of Attraction
Posted by admin | Filed under Personal Development, positive thoughts, the law of attraction
I am sure I am not the only one that has found myself surrounded by difficult people. These people can range from a new group you have just been introduced to, to your own family. The latter I believe is more difficult because they are your family.
When you are surrounded by these people you may feel negative vibes, hear negative comments, and feel the need to escape. Those feelings, according to the law of attraction, are your guidance system telling you this is not the right path for you.
What do you do if it is a new group of people you have been subjected to or if it is your family themselves? How do you separate yourself from these negative surroundings without offending or burning bridges?
To answer this we must first look at the Law of Attraction and what it says about these negative people or surroundings. It is said that by our thoughts we have created these situations. For me, and for many others I am sure, that is a difficult pill to swallow. However, if that is the fact we must pay attention to our thoughts prior to interacting with people.
If we find ourselves in these situations where there may be negativity our thoughts must have led us there. An example evaluation of these thoughts could be “I hope these people are not unfriendly” “What if we have nothing in common” or “I hope this family get together was not like the last one.”
These thoughts have created this negative environment you may find yourself in. So prior to these events a correction of thought is needed. An example of corrective thoughts may be “I am so glad my family and I will have great conversations today” or “I am excited to meet these new people and make some positive friends.”
This way of thinking will encourage a helpful environment in the future, however what if you are in a negative situation now? What thoughts do you think, what actions do you do, to create a negative environment into a positive one?
If you find yourself in that situation where you are surrounded by negativity your first thoughts or actions should not be negative, this will just fuel the fire. You must look for the tiny positives of the situation and many times it may not be the people you are with.
An example of looking for these positives to focus on and think about may be “I am in a beautiful environment” “I like the shirt that she is wearing; it is very colorful and vibrant.” These thoughts of course may not fix any negativity of others, but it is not your job to fix, it is your goal to focus on the positive. These little thoughts will lead to larger, more positive thoughts.
If all else fails, separate yourself from the situation. Go to the bathroom and reframe your thoughts, make a phone call to a positive friend, or leave all together. I have been in these situations and although the tips seem minimal you will be surprised at how much they help you in your feeling of relief.
One key point to remember, as mentioned earlier in this article, is to think positive thoughts before going to events and meeting people ahead of time. The more that can frame your thoughts in a positive manner, the more positive experiences you will have.

The Law of Sacrifice – You’ve Got to Give it Up to Get What You Want
Posted by admin | Filed under law of attraction
Anita Hamasaki does a good job at explaining this law:
The Law of Sacrifice – You’ve Got to Give it Up to Get What You Want
As I read through this chapter, “The Law of Sacrifice” from Raymond Holliwell’s book Working With The Law, I wasn’t very comfortable. He speaks of discipline and sacrifice. He talks about Abraham Lincoln as a fine example of discipline. Well, I don’t know about you, but I never wanted to be president and although I have a healthy respect for Abraham Lincoln, I never aspired to be anything like him. It’s almost like he’s to big to compare. Like trying to be Jesus or something.
But the fact is Lincoln was but a mere human. Just like the rest of us. He accomplished great things because he let go of the little things and moved toward the greater. He had the discipline to stay on track and not wander. He always had the big picture in mind. He did not concentrate on the trivial.
But Holliwell paints a rather austere picture. I love to have fun and discipline and sacrifice don’t sound all that fun. In fact quite the opposite. You know what I mean? However, Bob Proctor and Mary Morrissey are able to explain the Law of Sacrifice in a way that doesn’t seem so dismal.
Proctor says this of The Law of Sacrifice, “Sacrifice is giving up something of a lower nature to receive something of a higher nature.” So you’re not really giving stuff up, you’re “trading up” so to speak. You’re letting something smaller go for something bigger. More for your money, right?
So the first thing we all need to do is decide what it is we want. And the next step is to determine what needs to change to get us there. What will you give up, let go, or sacrifice in order to get to the place you want to be or have what you want to have. Maybe the money you save by not buying that $5 cup of coffee each morning could go towards the down payment on that sweet new car you’ve had your eye on. Or one of the hours you spend watching TV could be spent exercising and moving toward that stronger, healthier body you’ve been wishing for.
Let go of something of less importance in order to make room for something greater. That feels good. That feels right. It’s like when my kids have to clean out their closets and get rid of the old toys to make room for the new ones they just got for Christmas or their birthdays or whatever. Or cleaning out my closet after each season and making room for the new clothes (and shoes of course
). We get rid of the things that no longer fit or are worn out and we make room for the new stuff. We always need to be moving on to bigger and better things.
Life will forever move forward. We wouldn’t want it any other way. Even if everything is great, it would eventually get boring. Change is good. It keeps us fired up and moving on to our next step in life, whatever that may be.
“Your motion forward is inevitable; it must be. You can not help but move forward. But you are not here on a quest to move forward – you are here to experience outrageous joy. That is why you are here.” – Jerry and Esther Hicks

Build Your Self-Esteem
Posted by admin | Filed under Personal Development, self help
So how do you stay calm, composed and maintain self esteem in a tough environment? Here are some tips you may to consider as a starter guide to self improvement.
Imagine yourself as a Dart Board. Everything and everyone else around you may become Dart Pins, at one point or another. These dart pins will destroy your self esteem and pull you down in ways you won’t even remember. Don’t let them destroy you, or get the best of you. So which dart pins should you avoid?
Dart Pin #1 : Negative Work Environment
Beware of “dog eat dog” theory where everyone else is fighting just to get ahead. This is where non-appreciative people usually thrive. No one will appreciate your contributions even if you miss lunch and dinner, and stay up late. Most of the time you get to work too much without getting help from people concerned. Stay out of this, it will ruin your self esteem. Competition is at stake anywhere. Be healthy enough to compete, but in a healthy competition that is.
Dart Pin #2: Other People’s Behavior
Bulldozers, brown nosers, gossipmongers, whiners, backstabbers, snipers, people walking wounded, controllers, naggers, complainers, exploders, patronizers, sluffers… all these kinds of people will pose bad vibes for your self esteem, as well as to your self improvement scheme.
Dart Pin #3: Changing Environment
You can’t be a green bug on a brown field. Changes challenge our paradigms. It tests our flexibility, adaptability and alters the way we think. Changes will make life difficult for awhile, it may cause stress but it will help us find ways to improve our selves. Change will be there forever, we must be susceptible to it.
Dart Pin #4: Past Experience
It’s okay to cry and say “ouch!” when we experience pain. But don’t let pain transform itself into fear. It might grab you by the tail and swing you around. Treat each failure and mistake as a lesson.
Dart Pin #5: Negative World View
Look at what you’re looking at. Don’t wrap yourself up with all the negativities of the world. In building self esteem, we must learn how to make the best out of worst situations.
Dart Pin #6: Determination Theory
The way you are and your behavioral traits is said to be a mixed end product of your inherited traits (genetics), your upbringing (psychic), and your environmental surroundings such as your spouse, the company, the economy or your circle of friends. You have your own identity. If your father is a failure, it doesn’t mean you have to be a failure too. Learn from other people’s experience, so you’ll never have to encounter the same mistakes.
Sometimes, you may want to wonder if some people are born leaders or positive thinkers. NO. Being positive, and staying positive is a choice. Building self esteem and drawing lines for self improvement is a choice, not a rule or a talent. God wouldn’t come down from heaven and tell you – “George, you may now have the permission to build self esteem and improve your self.”
In life, its hard to stay tough specially when things and people around you keep pulling you down. When we get to the battle field, we should choose the right luggage to bring and armors to use, and pick those that are bullet proof. Life’s options give us arrays of more options. Along the battle, we will get hit and bruised. And wearing a bullet proof armor ideally means ‘self change’. The kind of change which comes from within. Voluntarily. Armor or Self Change changes 3 things: our attitude, our behavior and our way of thinking.
Building self esteem will eventually lead to self improvement if we start to become responsible for who we are, what we have and what we do. Its like a flame that should gradually spread like a brush fire from inside and out. When we develop self esteem, we take control of our mission, values and discipline. Self esteem brings about self improvement, true assessment, and determination. So how do you start putting up the building blocks of self esteem? Be positive. Be contented and happy. Be appreciative. Never miss an opportunity to compliment. A positive way of living will help you build self esteem, your starter guide to self improvement.

Napoleon Hills Awesome Secret
Posted by admin | Filed under Inspirational, law of attraction, Personal Development, the law of attraction
by Will Edwards
The Napoleon Hill classic, Think and Grow Rich, has continued to pose a challenge for readers ever since its publication in 1937. Hill claims to have implanted his secret to gaining wealth within the pages of the book in such a was that is is ‘hidden’ whilst it also remains in plain view. Actually, the secret is in two separate parts. The first part, he talks about openly, however, the second part is not at all so obvious.
When I first read the book myself, over twenty years ago, I can say that I was probably not ready to receive the secret. Needless to say, I didnt. However, many years later, I was motivated to reread the book and, still, the secret did not leap out of its pages and stand before me as the author suggested it would when the time was right.
So I began to do a bit of research: you know, Google is your friend – right? Well, the results of that research were that whilst many people claimed to know the secret, generally there seemed to be quite a bit of disagreement about what it was. It made me think that perhaps there was no such secret at all and that I was probably just wasting my time.
Then I came up with an interesting thought. I realised that Hill had named certain successful people in the book ” people like F.W. Woolworth, Henry Ford, Charles Schwab, George Eastman and so on. He mentioned that they had all applied the secret to create their fortunes. So I decided to research these people because, if they all knew the secret, then, I reasoned, I should find some common ideas about success in their writing. To cut a long story short, I found no such common thread.
A friend of mine told me that he thought the secret was entirely subjective. He said that people had to figure it out for themselves; and that, he said, was why Hill had not specified anything in particular. In the end, the secret boiled down to pretty-much anything the individual believed it to be.
However, one day, it actually happened: I realised what the secret was. Just as Napoleon Hill had said, I recognised it and instantly knew it to be true; and I also realised why Hill had decided to hide it within the pages of the book in plain sight ” so to speak. Now that I know the secret, the big question is: will it make me rich? After all, that is the subject of the book.
The secret is definitely having a positive effect in my online marketing and on the results I am now getting, so things are moving the right way. Now that I know the secret, I can see it being applied by other people; and some of them have been very successful at it too. I can well believe it has been directly responsible for creating significant wealth for very many people and I think it can also work for me.
If you would like to know more about my research into Napoleon Hills secret, we have a completely free book on the subject. You can get Napoleon Hills Awesome Secret as a free download. Once you start applying this secret, it is certain to change your life.

The Miracle of Medical Hypnosis
Posted by admin | Filed under hypnosis, hypnosis therapy
As a hypnotist I found this article to be very interesting:
It is now common knowledge that hypnosis has superior results for weight loss, quitting smoking, boosting confidence, stress reduction, memory improvement and so on. However, few know of the powerful effects hypnosis can have on the physical body, and its healing and immune systems.
This field is known as Medical Hypnosis. The natural results often seem miraculous. Unfortunately, since this tool cannot be easily analyzed by scientific methods it has been pushed to one side.
Nonetheless, Medical Hypnosis has a very long, well documented history. For instance, starting in 1846, Dr. James Esdaile performed over 2000 operations using hypnosis as the sole means of anesthetic. Back then the chances of surviving even minor surgery were slim, yet Dr. Esdaile had a very low mortality rate and rapid post-operative recovery. Hypnosis might be used routinely in surgery today if not for the introduction of chloroform. Hypnosis has also been shown to speed up post-operative recovery.
The British Medical Association approved hypnosis in 1955 followed by the American Medical Association 1958. There are countless modern studies showing the effectiveness of medical hypnosis.
So what is Medical Hypnosis, and what can it do for you?
Simply put, Medical Hypnosis is the use of hypnosis to assist physical healing and changes. The American Medical Association and many doctors have acknowledged that between 70 to 90% of illness starts in the mind. Negative mental states can weaken the body’s delicate defense mechanisms.
Doesn’t it seem obvious that if the mind can be the underlying factor for so much illness then it should also be able to heal that illness? Of course! Even the incredible effect of placebos proves this. I cannot begin to imagine why the health professions give so little attention to this obvious conclusion. Well, things are changing – slowly…
Psycho-neuro-immunology is the popular name given to research and therapy using the mind’s healing abilities. It has been clearly shown that your thoughts and moods can cause changes in hormone and neurotransmitter levels. The brain and its chemicals interact with every other part of the body.
This knowledge is not new. Andrew Schalley and Roger Guillemin received the Nobel Prize in 1977 after showing how the brain uses neurotransmitters to ‘give orders’ to the body. Research at Michigan State University has demonstrated that a single cell can be controlled by how we think. Our state of mind plays a major role in our body’s susceptibility to illness and its ability to heal itself.
Since the body is controlled by the brain, and the brain by the mind, it follows that we can influence our body through the mind. Hypnosis allows us access to our subconscious mind, and is therefore the best tool for this purpose.
Many scientific hypnosis demonstrations have baffled the minds of the audience. Warts can be made to vanish. Ice can create heat blisters. Bleeding can be turned on and off at will. People walk on red hot coals without burning. Strength can be increased many times. These demonstrations are just to show the incredible potential we all have. Medical hypnosis uses these principles to enhance our health.
Medical Hypnosis has many favorable qualities. It is totally safe and non-invasive. There are no unpleasant side effects. It generally costs only a fraction of standard medical treatment. Also, it can safely complement other therapies, and often enhances the results. This is because the mind has the ability to block treatments from working.
Here is a brief list of some of the more common issues Medical Hypnosis has been used for:
* Allergies
* Asthma
* Bed wetting
* Blushing
* Body building
* Breast enlargement
* Childbirth
* Duodenal ulcer
* Eyesight
* Hair loss
* Headaches/Migraines
* Immune strengthening
* Insomnia
* Menstrual problems
* Pain Control
* Sexual problems
* Skin disorders
* Sports improvement
* Stammering
* Twitching
* Warts
The list could go on for ever!
You already have tremendous healing power. A medical hypnotist’s job is to help you utilize it. Some problems may need diagnosis or referral from your physician. Your doctor is necessary, so always consult with your physician concerning a medical issue.
One final word. Be sure to check that a hypnotist is properly qualified. Don’t just take their word for it, and also remember that a medical of psychology degree does not mean that a person has any hypnosis training. A medical hypnotist does not have to be a medical doctor, but will happily work with your doctor. I urge you to discover for yourself just how great medical hypnosis can be.

How To Overcome Procrastination
Posted by admin | Filed under law of attraction, Personal Development, self help
A build up of stress can easily cause anxiety, depression, and many other negative side effects. These stressors may be unknown consciously; they could be as simple as having to return a phone call that you have put off.
Many times people don’t realize the effects that procrastination has on the mind and body. I have found myself many times in the past stressed and could not figure out why. When I really took a look at those times I realized there were many tiny things that I wanted to get done and just kept putting them off.
People procrastinate for many reasons. Perhaps it is a tedious job they have to accomplish, or maybe fear is getting in the way of achieving goals. With these factors as well as others, that may not be apparent, one can end up with a load of unknown stress.
This stress can lead to fatigue, depression, and a wondering of what is wrong. Eventually it becomes a vicious circle of I need to get this done, I am to tired to do it, I will do it later and then it starts all over again.
This procrastination greatly affects the work of positive thoughts that one desires to attract the things in life that they want. The law of attraction can be frustrating to many and those many may not be aware that their own procrastination is causing the frustration with the law of attraction.
To remedy this let’s break down the cycle of procrastination with the teachings of the law of attraction.
One procrastinates due to inconvenience or any other negative reason. They do this to protect themselves from discomfort or other negative emotions.
The Law of Attraction teaches that if you are feeling negative emotions you are in resistance of what you truly desire.
I think you can see where this may be leading. You procrastinate to avoid, when if you just got the job done you would feel relief. This relief would then lead to a positive outlook which would make it much easier to attract the things in life you desire.
So what should you do?
Take care of things when they come to you, when you do this, you are acting on inspired action not a chore of some sort.
If you dread something, focus on the end result of getting it accomplished, is it a good feeling? Is it something you desire to be achieved? In many cases, by getting the inspired action done, you will feel a relief.
As the teachings out there on the Law of Attraction say, reach for that feeling of relief and in many cases that means taking care of things as you are inspired to do so.
