Conversation Hypnosis Releases Your Mind Power
Posted by Ray Earnest | Filed under hypnosis
Human mind has immense powers, but the same mind has the tendency to restrain these powers from helping you. We can take the example of the elephant, the biggest land animal. It has immense physical powers, but puny humans like you and me have complete control over it. The reason is that the animal does not know of its physical powers. In the same manner, many of us fail to find enough success in life due to some inherent mental weaknesses. It is here that conversation hypnosis comes to the rescue by expanding your mental vistas beyond your visual limits.
Human mind has a marked propensity to accept only what is before the eyes and spurn any hint about what cannot be seen. Psychology experts call this limiting aspect the critical factor of our mind that allows the mind to accept only tried and tested facts by way of selective thinking. As an example, suppose that somebody told you that you are a great leader. But even though you are happy with the compliment, the critical factor refuses to accept it fully and this negativity restricts you from thinking positively about it and become a person of worth. It is this critical factor that conversation hypnosis strives to remove.
Once the critical factor is bypassed, you would start believing and behaving like a great leader and you may end up as one in due course of time. Traditionally, conversational hypnosis is done in a controlled atmosphere with the full concurrence of the subject. The hypnotist leads the subject to a relaxed and spellbound mental state and then suggests behavioral changes to the subconscious mind.
The benefits of conversation hypnosis are numerous. It improves your mental strength, which in turn would help you to exert influence where it is required, see through nefarious designs of people around you and create friendly relations with everyone you want. Hundreds of people around us have undergone this powerful exercise, which resulted in their lives getting better by each passing day.
In brief, conversation hypnosis is the process of unlocking all your mental treasures. Those who successfully complete the process are able to negotiate fruitfully in business, get the job of their dreams, attract others to you and improve your respectability. It transforms the mediocre into a colossus.

How to Use Affirmations to Get Anything You Want
Posted by Peter F. Duncan | Filed under hypnosis
Do you know how to use affirmations? As with just about any subject, there are a lot of nay sayers when it comes to affirmations. Many will state that affirmations do not work. Well many people will tell you that investing in the stock market did not produce positive results for them as well. Yet there are people that have made a killing in the stock market.
Just hear me out for a second.
Nay sayers just do not know how to make affirmations work for them. Pick any subject and you can surely create and affirmation on it. But the magic to getting them work is how they can change the way you feel. After I am done with an affirmation I am buzzing. I think most people have some inner self talk that just cancels out the good. You probably know what I am talking about. You say a nice affirmation and your inner talk says “that is just not true”.
Your self talk probably gets into a little argument with you: “wealthy – ya right”, “you don’t look like you are at your ideal weight”, “attractive? then why are you alone”. When this happens it is time to show who is the boss. You either control your mind or your mind controls you. Get into the feeling place of your affirmations. When you affirm you are lean, feel the feelings of being lean. Affirmations used this way will reprogram your subconscious to get what you want.
Your words have no power. It is the feeling that the words provide that have the power. So choose the words that inspire and excite you – as if it is already real.
Affirmations could be just one word. Like “wealth” or “health” or “love”. The key is … does the word change your feelings in a positive way? If yes, then affirm it. I have many affirmations, one of them I use is “love” or “be love”. To me, this reminds to be more loving and caring. I will repeat the affirmation until I get the desired feeling change.
Affirmations are a wonderful tool. I recommend you spend 10-15 minutes several times a day doing your affirmations and feel the feelings of having your affirmation now. The real key, as with any technique, is consistent application. Do it. Do it daily … and believe it will make a difference.

A Disguised Hypnosis Power-move–”Logical Offsetting”
Posted by Jason Smith | Filed under hypnosis
Although Disguised Hypnosis is stuffed with persuasion techniques from one end to the next, one of the most popular techniques is known as “Logical Offsetting”, and whilst there are countless variations of how a persuasion artist can go about “logical offsetting” his opponents, this article will explain the techniques foundations.
First, we must know that “logical offsetting” is part of what Disguised Hypnosis calls, “The Insurance Game”. The Insurance Game, as it’s referred to, is a powerful game that a persuasion artist likes to play in order to get rid of any resistance getting in his way.
In order to be able to logically offset your opponent, you first need to find something that you can use against your opponent as leverage. Then, you use your “insurance” that you have acquired over your opponent to completely “logically offset” any if not all of his resistance.
Although Logical Offsetting is a secretive strategy, this doesn’t mean that people are not unknowingly practicing this technique all of the time. An everyday example of when this happens could be when a child attempts to “offset” his mistakes by reminding his parents of how his parents also made the same mistakes when they were younger.
Once the parents are reminded that they behaved in the same way when they were once young, it becomes difficult to for them to punish their children for something that they themselves also once did. Now, needless to say, Logical offsetting in this scenario may not be powerful enough to get the child off scott free, but it does give the child enough leverage in many cases to buffer the punishment that is handed down through the parents.
And this is exactly what the art of persuasion is about. The Art of Persuasion is about tipping the scales in the favor of the persuasion artist so that the persuasion artist can get what he wants. Logical offsetting is even more powerful when it is combined with other secretive techniques. When persuasion techniques are combined one on top of the other, this is what the persuasion community refers to as “layering” or “stacking”.
“Stacking” is when persuasion techniques are stacked one on the other to manufacture what underground persuasion artists call, “The Invincible Effect”. The Invincible Effect states, among many other things, that even though a persuasion process could in theory be resisted, that it will not be resisted because there are too many factors involved for a person to say no.
This advanced thought process is one of the many things that causes Disguised Hypnosis to remain a superior persuasion product. Everyone wants to acquire strengths, but they never realize that the easiest way to make themselves strong is to utilize the weaknesses all around them in powerful ways that will never be resisted by anyone or anything.

What Is Hypnosis?
Posted by admin | Filed under hypnosis, hypnosis therapy
Hypnosis and its uses in the practice of hypnotism are rapidly emerging as a highly effective science in solving the problems of people. It can be very beneficial in many cases and is also a valuable adjunct to psychotherapy and psychiatry. Yet it is probably the lowest risk procedure available from the standpoint of contraindications.
Yet few complementary procedures are less understood, or more plagued by misconceptions and misunderstandings. Before considering what hypnosis is, perhaps it would be appropriate to establish what it is not!
Most hypnotists, on interviewing a new client/patient, will ask the client what he or she thinks hypnosis is. Replies range from sleep, to unconsciousness, to surrender of mental powers and control, to magic, to voodoo. All are in error.
Hypnosis cannot be sleep. In most cases the subject is fully aware of communication and is able to respond on request either verbally or by signal. Nor is unconsciousness involved. A subject asked to make a specific movement will comply with the request unless it is objectionable, in which case there will be a refusal.
There is no surrender of mind or control. A person who does not want to be hypnotized cannot be hypnotized or be induced to do or say anything that violates personal standards of behavior or integrity. There is neither magic nor voodoo involved.
Any hypnotist can explain the actions or behaviors seen in stage, film or television shows, where the subject seems to follow directions mindlessly.
Actually, hypnosis is better described than defined. It is often considered an altered state of consciousness featuring “selective perception,” a process in which the subject (who is in control) chooses to see only what is relevant to his task, blocking out everything else. Hypnosis involves guided concentration. The guidance, however, may be provided by a qualified practitioner or, in the case of self-hypnosis, by the individual subject. Self-hypnosis, which can be taught by a properly certified hypnotist and learned by virtually any client, can provide the recipient with a lifetime of benefit.
WHERE DID HYPNOTISM ORIGINATE?
The basics of hypnotism go back to ancient times. Those who have read Jean Auel’s memorable book, “Clan Of The Cave Bear,” will remember accounts of magic, healings, inherited memories and revelations performed or created by the “Mogurs” and “medicine women” of prehistoric clans. Hypnotism. In the early centuries of our own land, the medicine men of Indian tribes performed seeming miracles. Hypnotism. Wider, non-secret usage began in the 1700′s in several forms under different names.
There were periods of progress and periods of stagnation in the development of modem hypnotism. Medical interest and acceptance expanded following World War II when the use of hypnotherapy proved especially helpful to surviving battlefield casualties suffering from shock, injury, battle fatigue and various psychological disorders. As understanding increased hypnotism began to be recognized as an important adjunct to counseling psychology, psychotherapy, psychiatry, and also medical fields including neurology, obstetrics, emergency medicine, burn therapy and others.
Hypnosis is finding increasing usage in dentistry and other areas where pain control is important. All humans (and possibly several animals) have two distinct minds – the conscious mind and the unconscious mind. The unconscious mind is vastly larger and more powerful than the conscious mind, yet it is the least understood and used by mankind. Actually, the great “unconscious” mind has two functional elements, the subconscious and the superconscious, the former the storehouse of memory, the latter dealing with the spiritual.
DOES IT WORK?
The subconscious mind receives and retains, neither accepting nor rejecting, all the messages we receive from our backgrounds, whether genetic, social, religious or experiential, plus all the conflicts (little or big) that enter our lives daily. When for whatever reason the conscious mind (which deals with everyday living, logic, reason, etc.) becomes overloaded, the subconscious prepares us for what is considered appropriate action (usually fight or flight). However the subconscious mind does not analyze, as does the conscious mind, but accepts all messages in the literal sense.
In essence, hypnosis is a means of communication between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. Many human problems, habits, stresses, anxieties, attitudes or apparent deficiencies can be traced to interpretations by the subconscious mind which, when understood by the conscious mind, can reduce or resolve specific problems.
The subconscious is also the seat of all memory. Traumatic events can be buried or suppressed in the subconscious. A major benefit of hypnosis is its ability to uncover and bring into the light of understanding the buried information or experience that may be the cause of a troublesome problem.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE
Your first visit with your hypnotist will, primarily, be exploratory. You will learn about hypnotism and become comfortable with it. Your hypnotist will discuss your interests and your desires to determine if hypnosis can accomplish what you want to achieve.
If you both feel that it will be worthwhile to proceed, your hypnotist may give you some small tests to determine your type of suggestibility, your ability to relax, your skills at visualization-procedures which help your hypnotist adapt to you as an individual so as to design programming personalized for you which will be acceptable to your subconscious, retained and acted upon in a manner leading to full achievement of your goals.

The Miracle of Medical Hypnosis
Posted by admin | Filed under hypnosis, hypnosis therapy
As a hypnotist I found this article to be very interesting:
It is now common knowledge that hypnosis has superior results for weight loss, quitting smoking, boosting confidence, stress reduction, memory improvement and so on. However, few know of the powerful effects hypnosis can have on the physical body, and its healing and immune systems.
This field is known as Medical Hypnosis. The natural results often seem miraculous. Unfortunately, since this tool cannot be easily analyzed by scientific methods it has been pushed to one side.
Nonetheless, Medical Hypnosis has a very long, well documented history. For instance, starting in 1846, Dr. James Esdaile performed over 2000 operations using hypnosis as the sole means of anesthetic. Back then the chances of surviving even minor surgery were slim, yet Dr. Esdaile had a very low mortality rate and rapid post-operative recovery. Hypnosis might be used routinely in surgery today if not for the introduction of chloroform. Hypnosis has also been shown to speed up post-operative recovery.
The British Medical Association approved hypnosis in 1955 followed by the American Medical Association 1958. There are countless modern studies showing the effectiveness of medical hypnosis.
So what is Medical Hypnosis, and what can it do for you?
Simply put, Medical Hypnosis is the use of hypnosis to assist physical healing and changes. The American Medical Association and many doctors have acknowledged that between 70 to 90% of illness starts in the mind. Negative mental states can weaken the body’s delicate defense mechanisms.
Doesn’t it seem obvious that if the mind can be the underlying factor for so much illness then it should also be able to heal that illness? Of course! Even the incredible effect of placebos proves this. I cannot begin to imagine why the health professions give so little attention to this obvious conclusion. Well, things are changing – slowly…
Psycho-neuro-immunology is the popular name given to research and therapy using the mind’s healing abilities. It has been clearly shown that your thoughts and moods can cause changes in hormone and neurotransmitter levels. The brain and its chemicals interact with every other part of the body.
This knowledge is not new. Andrew Schalley and Roger Guillemin received the Nobel Prize in 1977 after showing how the brain uses neurotransmitters to ‘give orders’ to the body. Research at Michigan State University has demonstrated that a single cell can be controlled by how we think. Our state of mind plays a major role in our body’s susceptibility to illness and its ability to heal itself.
Since the body is controlled by the brain, and the brain by the mind, it follows that we can influence our body through the mind. Hypnosis allows us access to our subconscious mind, and is therefore the best tool for this purpose.
Many scientific hypnosis demonstrations have baffled the minds of the audience. Warts can be made to vanish. Ice can create heat blisters. Bleeding can be turned on and off at will. People walk on red hot coals without burning. Strength can be increased many times. These demonstrations are just to show the incredible potential we all have. Medical hypnosis uses these principles to enhance our health.
Medical Hypnosis has many favorable qualities. It is totally safe and non-invasive. There are no unpleasant side effects. It generally costs only a fraction of standard medical treatment. Also, it can safely complement other therapies, and often enhances the results. This is because the mind has the ability to block treatments from working.
Here is a brief list of some of the more common issues Medical Hypnosis has been used for:
* Allergies
* Asthma
* Bed wetting
* Blushing
* Body building
* Breast enlargement
* Childbirth
* Duodenal ulcer
* Eyesight
* Hair loss
* Headaches/Migraines
* Immune strengthening
* Insomnia
* Menstrual problems
* Pain Control
* Sexual problems
* Skin disorders
* Sports improvement
* Stammering
* Twitching
* Warts
The list could go on for ever!
You already have tremendous healing power. A medical hypnotist’s job is to help you utilize it. Some problems may need diagnosis or referral from your physician. Your doctor is necessary, so always consult with your physician concerning a medical issue.
One final word. Be sure to check that a hypnotist is properly qualified. Don’t just take their word for it, and also remember that a medical of psychology degree does not mean that a person has any hypnosis training. A medical hypnotist does not have to be a medical doctor, but will happily work with your doctor. I urge you to discover for yourself just how great medical hypnosis can be.

Making Your Own Subliminal Messages Has Never Been Easier
Posted by Trevor Johnson | Filed under hypnosis, mind technology, Personal Development
Making your own subliminal messages is not a difficult task. We all hear these messages everyday but most people choose to ignore them completely.
Before you go out and buy the software to help you make your own subliminal messages, you need to understand what a subliminal message is exactly. Everyone has witnessed a commercial showing someone drinking alcohol, or lighting up a cigarette. Companies make these attributes seem cool to the consumer in a means to get them to participate in the same actions. It’s almost like brainwashing you into something that you had no idea you were being brainwashed to do. Subliminal messages are often times referred to as secret messages.
Many people are taking these messages and running with them. There are plethoras of subliminal message tapes available that claim that they can cure you of anything. People buy these tapes in hopes that it can help make them a better person. They can listen to the tapes when they are awake or asleep.
There are a plethora of people who truly do not understand subliminal messages. They will make jokes about their effectiveness, most of the time because they have never used them. These tapes can help you solve whatever ails you, be it depression, or stress.
When you are making your own subliminal message takes you need to watch the way that you word specific things. Many kits will come with a step by step process of how to record your messages and the certain things that you should say will be written on a script. If you mess anything up when you are recording, simply rewind and try again.
It has been shown, that with some people it takes hearing their own voice to actually get through to them.

What is Psycho-Linguistic Therapy
Posted by admin | Filed under hypnosis, hypnosis therapy, mind technology, NLP
Psycho-linguistic therapy is an effective approach to accessing your mind to change thoughts or behaviors. It is focused on an individual’s thinking patterns versus insight into their problems.
Psycho-linguistic therapy focuses on processes rather then problems. It is a more solution-driven approach rather then a problem-driven approach. Psycholinguistics is a compilation of NLP (Neuro-Linguistics Programming), hypnosis, imagery and self-talk. It is based on the fact that we all have behaviors that we have learned throughout life which we have turned into our truths.
With Psycho-linguistic therapy an individual needs to find their unconscious triggers and make adjustments in order to make a new positive choice or change in behavior.
Our minds are often trying to figure out problems such as why a certain thing occurred or why we are a certain way. With Psycho-linguistic therapy we focus on the now. Realizing that we are where we are and the solution to the problems are changes in thoughts we create now.
For example, with psycho-linguistic therapy it is of no benefit to go back and try to figure out what caused you to be overweight. The more effective approach would be to see the areas of weakness such as snacking or lack of exercise. From there you work to change your mind about how you see, think, and feel about these things.
By doing this you are focused on the now, not going back in time and blaming others or events that may have caused you to be this way. It is of no benefit to do that. By doing that you are conjuring up past ideas, thoughts and feelings that no longer serve you today.
With proper education, use, or assistance in applying psycholinguistics to your life you will be able to accomplish even your loftiest goals.

Individual Hypnosis Can Combat Stress and Anxiety
Posted by admin | Filed under hypnosis, hypnosis therapy, self-hypnosis
Stress and anxiety are things we deal with daily. This begins the moment you wake up in the morning until the time you come home. If you were a better person, you know you shouldn’t let this control you. For those that need help, individual hypnosis may just be the answer you are looking for.
But why should you try individual hypnosis? Well unlike conventional drugs being sold in the market, it does not have any serious side effects. You can attend as many sessions as you want until you feel you don’t need it anymore.
What happens during individual hypnosis is that you get to relax and rejuvenate so you are able to return back to reality feeling refreshed and ready to take on the next challenge.
To make this happen, you have to understand what hypnosis is and it is a process by which an individual is able to leave his conscious mind and then go to the subconscious state.
The only way this can work is with the right attitude and the willingness to be hypnotized otherwise you are just wasting your time. This is known as the first stage of hypnosis called preparation.
A hypnotist will guide you further before the session begins by asking you some questions and then figuring what keywords you will best respond to later on.
When the specialist sees you are ready, you will now be instructed to sit down comfortably or lie down. They will tell you to focus your attention on their voice or by gazing at a fixed object.
If this does not work, the hypnotist will try other means to get you into the zone and another option is called progressive relaxation. It is slower than gazing to an object or listening to the hypnotist’s voice. Slow music is played in the background and then the hypnotist will talk to the patient until he or she is finally in an induced state.
Just like other problems that can be solved using hypnosis, stress and anxiety are caused by certain events or even people.
Sometimes, these are things beyond our control especially if the one causing stress is your boss so the purpose of hypnosis is to overcome that by helping you forget about the negative energy so you are able to perform better the following day.
Individual hypnosis could also let you see things from another angle so you don’t get mad but try to understand the individual or the event causing that stress so you are able to act properly when the situation presents itself.
There is no doubt that hypnosis can help combat stress and anxiety. If it has worked for others, there is a chance that this could also work for you. The only thing that a specialist will ask from you is your willingness to do it because nothing is going to happen if you are skeptic about this technique.
The willingness to take control of your life and not have stress or anxiety control it is the objective of individual hypnosis. If you don’t have time to visit the hypnotist, try out some self-hypnosis recordings which you can buy at the records store that are just as effective as a one on one session with a specialist.

What Is Covert Hypnosis?
Posted by admin | Filed under hypnosis, mind technology
You may be familiar with the hypnosis you see on TV or at stage shows. You know the kind, the kind where a hypnotist is able to have people sit in a chair and then supposedly turn them into chickens, and things like that.
You may often ask yourself “Is that real, or is the hypnotist just using actors?”. The answer is of course, that yes, it is very real, however you may be surprised to know that there is a much more advanced form of hypnosis than that, a kind of hypnosis that can be used in your day to day life on people without them being aware of it. And this field is known as “covert hypnosis”.
It makes sense, if a hypnotist can hypnotize people at a stage show, then surely he’d be able to do it off the stage as well, when people aren’t aware of it? The answer is of course that yes, a trained hypnotist can do just that. You see, entertainment hypnosis is the only form of hypnosis that you’re exposed to. Covert hypnosis, because its discreet, is a type of hypnosis you will never heard about, nor will you see it on TV. Covert hypnosis is of course, by its very nature… covert.
It’s the type of hypnosis that politicians, faith healers, mentalists, illusionists, even psychics use in order to hypnotize many people into doing things, or thinking certain things. Covert hypnosis is used by professionals each and every day to make people fall in love, to bring them into false belief systems, to make them part with their money, and many other powerful things.
The powers of covert hypnosis are practically endless, and once this field is mastered, many things become possible. But how does it work exactly? Covert hypnosis works by influencing a person’s subconscious outside of the person’s conscious awareness. Whenever we’re consciously aware of a suggestion, we cannot be hypnotized by it. This is because our consciousness contains a critical part to it, which constantly analyzes everything that passes through it.
If our conscious were to come across any information, or suggestion that it didn’t agree with, then it would immediately reject it. For example, if I told you right now “you will raise your right hand”, you most likely wouldn’t, since I’m giving your consciousness an instruction. If however I plant subtle suggestions within your mind, and then trigger these suggestions subconsciously, without you being consciously aware of it, then it becomes quite possible for me to make you raise your right hand.
As you can see, by its very nature, covert hypnosis isn’t obvious. The only real way to tell if someone is using covert hypnosis on you is to learn the field yourself.

Is Hypnosis Real?
Posted by admin | Filed under hypnosis, hypnosis therapy, mind technology, self-hypnosis
A lot of people who begin their research into hypnosis often ask the question “Is hypnosis real?” This is a very valid question, and is not one that should be dismissed.
The answer is of course that hypnosis is very real, but with hypnosis being an unregulated industry, there are a number of so called “gurus” and “hypnotists” who really don’t have a level of training that is consistent with more professional hypnotists.
This can of course lead people to believe, after one or two failed attempts with hypnosis, that hypnosis doesn’t work. The reason hypnosis fails is never because hypnosis doesn’t work on the person. Everyone can be hypnotized, despite what some hypnotists may say. It simply comes down to the skill of the hypnotist concerned.
Recent research into hypnosis has shown that people can be broken into two “suggestibility” types. These include physical and emotional suggestibility. One easy way to think of it is that emotional suggestibility is more common to people who are introvert, whilst physical suggestibility is more common to people who are introvert.
Hypnosis has come a long way within the past thirty years. What was once a field that was used merely as a way to treat psychological ailments and for entertainment, has now become a field that can be used to persuade people to do many, many things.
Traditionally, hypnosis was used very directly, and it is still used in this manner today by many hypnotists. The fact of the matter however, is that only physical suggestibles respond to direct suggestions. Emotional suggestibles respond to indirect suggestions, and it wasn’t until the time of Dr. Milton Erickson that a new discreet form of hypnosis began to emerge.
Erickson devised ways to use hypnosis in discreet settings, in a way that co-operated with a person, as opposed to a way that worked against them. Erickson allowed the apparent 50% of the population that “couldn’t be hypnotized” to be hypnotized. So when people ask “Is hypnosis real?” just remember that it may be due to a failed experience by a hypnotist who wasn’t aware of this new suggestibility typing.
In order for someone to be hypnotized, their suggestibility typing must first be identified. Once this is done, inducing someone into a state of hypnosis becomes a very easy process.
So as you can see, the answer to the question “Is hypnosis real?” is a definite “yes”, however it comes down to the skill of the hypnotist concerned as to whether or not hypnosis will be effective on you, now whether or not “is hypnosis real”.
